VISION
- A growing child is vulnerable to disabilities. As they our future generation, early prevention is mandatory and their welfare need protection and care.
- All mankind are equal and have the right to develop their personality.
- All mankind have a social responsibility towards their fellow human beings and to their society, their country.
MISSION
- Early prevention/ detection of any disability.
- Any child with a disability/ties required appropriate treatment and rehabilitation by a certified interdisiplinary team (total care).
- Any child with a disability/ties deserves treatments regardless of their condition, their background.
OBJECTIVES
- To promote the welfare of children with disability/ties.
- To support the government to achieve the welfare of the society, especially in regards with children with disability/ties.
MOTTO
One’s disability is not a measure of one’s ability.
YPAC SERVICES
Institutional Services
A comprehensive services are offered through the Institution throughout the 16 (sixteen) regional offices.
Medical Services.
Health clinic, physio therapy, speech therapy, hydro therapy, swimming lesson, general health check-up, dentistry, prosthetics workshop.
Education & Services
Observation classes
Special schools-from kindergarten to 12th grade, Prevocational classes, Inclusive classes/schools.
Social Services
Daily care, home-visit, follow-up care, after school guidance, recreation, boys and girls scout clubs, sport activities.
Prevocational Services.
Sewing classes, weaving classes, gardening, and other appropriate prevocational training.
COMMUNITY BASED REHABILITATION (CBR)
CBR program is to develop the participation of local community and their involvement in disability prevention and the rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
In 1976 YPAC has tried out a community based rehabilitation project in the village of Central Java, cooperating with the local government and local organisation. Since then CBR has been applied in several YPAC regional offices, i.e. in Bandung, Ternate, Manado, Makasar.
To further develop the CBR concept, YPAC has established CBR Development, Research and Training Center “Prof Dr. Soeharso” in Karang Anyar, Surakarta, Central-java.
FAMILY BASED REHABILITATION (FBR)
The first and primary support for the children’s rehabilitation is through their families. Based on this concept, YPAC has established FBR in South Jakarta/ Tangerang since 1997
Motto
To help children with disabilities to prepare them for their future.
Purpose :
- to help children with disabilities to optimize their potentials.
- to enable the children’s family members and the community to help children with disabilities to become independent.
Main Program:
- to provide a tailor made therapy for children with disabilities.
- to train the children’s parents and the other family members with the child’s required therapy.
- to train children with disabilities to become a functional and accepted member of the family.
- home visit by the therapists.

Profesionals assigned by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Manpower.
